Tasting Notes: Eminently Drinkable, Spring Flowers, Honey Nectar, Balanced, New Standby
4 X 16 oz. cans
The most subtle and restrained beer we make. It's the brewers' after-shift beer, the one we spend the most time talking about and tweaking. It was initially conceived as our "rite of passage" as a lager brewery, a study in brewing something stripped down yet evocative of our house yeast and favorite malts.
It's a touch maltier vs. other lagers, but delivers sweetness with overall lightness at a lower ABV. It's among our most accessible beers in the portfolio along with Echo of Nothing. Joyous honey nectar character alongside floral notes makes it taste like spring in a glass.
If you're hooked on helles and want to try another take on the style, you're in luck. Short Fuse is foudre-fermented, subtly smokey, and currently in stock (at least, for now.)
