THE SPACE
The brewery and brewpub opened together in 2014. The intention was to create a warm and welcoming space for all - a pillar for a generation to come and a place where patrons become new neighbors in an old neighborhood.
Our bar menu was conceived with a view toward broadening the scope of what a brewpub is expected to offer. Our beer list features our freshest lagers, IPAs, and mixed culture beer offerings as well as favorites from other craft breweries whom we admire. Our wine & cocktail menus round out our offerings and reflect the breadth of our many interests.
A good bar is not just about how good the drinks are, it’s about the friends you drink with. With that in mind, we are proud to call The Meat Hook and Ninth Street Espresso our food and coffee partners.

The Yard
A high-ceilinged room with a long bar, banquet seating, warm wood details and a skylight, this is the centerpiece of our Gowanus brewpub and where the welcome happens. You don’t have to love beer, you don’t even have to drink beer, but the fifteen-barrel brite tanks tucked behind the liquor shelves are there to provide that subtle reminder that you are, in fact, in a brewery. Walk to the left or right of the bar top and you can even catch a peek of the brewhouse itself.
Conceived as a music venue (and named after a lyric from a Dylan song) with a second identity as a private dining room, this is the space within the space where anything might be underway. If someone hasn't booked the room for a beer tasting or private event, chances are there is a band performing, a comedy act unfolding, a soccer game screening. At the very least, on a busy Saturday afternoon this is where the hidden good seats are. You'd be remiss not to go upstairs and at least take a peek.
A year round outdoor space, lush and green in the summer and tented and cozy in the winter, for some the Yard is the main attraction. Equipped with an outdoor bar that has also been winterized for all seasons, you can get draught beer, wines and cocktails without taking a step back into the main bar. The only thing we can't promise is a slushy in winter or a hot toddy in summer. For those, you need to come when the time is right.
